This painting is another in my ongoing series exploring watermedia on yupo, the non-absorbent sheet polypropylene 'paper'. It creates fabulous visual textures with the evaporative drying process of water-based media, such as the india ink used here. A second zebra was drawn in with watercolor crayon but left uninked.

The painting is 8x16 on 10x18 yupo (an inch border all around); you can mat and frame it to quite a large size, and it would look dynamite in a black mat. The price includes handling and US postage.
