Well - I did misread it - its inches not feet. Which makes it even worse - less than 3.5 feet (L) x 2.5 feet (H). That's not a lot of space to put one artist's work.

Besides the obvious - how do you hang an art show 30 feet high and still have patrons see it? That's about 2 stories high. Or am I misreading it. Lets do some math - 40 x 30 is 1200 square feet per artist times 200 artists or 240,000 square feet! That's a LOT of art to hang! But each one can't weigh more than 2 pounds? Some of my frames alone weigh over 2 pounds. Just pointing out more of the riduculous content of this "invitation."

I think the catch here is the $50 fee (paid by credit card, I'll bet). So they get $50 and your credit card number - and off we go!

It is true - now more than EVER, we need to be vigilant when it comes to these "shows." Having been a victim of one less-than-forthright promoter, I read, reread and reread again - every "invitation" I get. So far - all have hit the recycle bin.
