Rock Cat #2

  This piece is an experiment in several ways for me - an attempt to correlate a representational support (rock outcrop) for the bobcat with a completely abstract background. I also went very juicy and alla prima on the cat - another departure for me. I'm particularly taken with the result because I think it pays a tiny bit of homage to one of my art heroes, Bob Kuhn.
