Every so often my artwork wins an award of which I'm damn proud, and this page highlights these accomplishments.

Arts for the Parks Grand Prize, 2002 "Illumination", 20 x 30		This is the big damn deal that kicked off my life as a full-time artist. Before I won this prize I was splitting my time between being an engineer for HP and being an artist. Winning the Grand Prize changed my life, and I am very proud of this particular award.

Award of Merit 2005 American Academy of Women Artists annual exhibition El Presidio Gallery Tucson, AZ "Pure Gold", 36 x 27		I had just been invited to join the American Academy of Women Artists as a Signature Member before the AAWA annual exhibition took place. I sent several pieces to the show in Tucson, and I was surprised and delighted when I got to the show to find "Award of Merit" next to this piece. The awards jurying was done by R.S. Riddick, CAA, and George Strickland - two very notable artists, making the award very meaningful for me.

Award of Excellence; Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum Purchase Award 2002 Society of Animal Artists annual exhibition "Bare Naked Lady", 28 x 36		This has to be my winningest piece ever: 2002 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation featured artwork The Artist's Magazine 2003 calendar Juried into the annual SAA exhibition, and there it won 3 awards: an Award of Excellence, and Purchase Awards from 2 different museums. Wow.
